The aim of ‘Assessing the Economic Contribution of Labour Migration in Developing Countries as Countries of Destination’ (ECLM) was to arrive at a reliable and evidence-based understanding of the economic impact of immigration in 10 low and middle-income countries, including Nepal. This study reviewed relevant immigration and integration policies related to immigration in Nepal both in the historical and current contexts.
