The programme aimed for greater collaboration among stakeholders for enhanced prosecution and victims’ protection. The programme was a follow-up to the first and second stakeholder meeting on anti-trafficking held about one and half years back.
Representatives from different government ministries, the police, armed police force, civil society organisations held in-depth consultations on the draft interview framework, evaluated the framework and discussed strategies for ensuring uniformity to prevent repetition while taking interviews of trafficking victims, discussed the ways forward for strengthening coordination and cooperation among stakeholders on activities for combating Human Trafficking.
