Bhimkala Limbu holds a master’s degree in anthropology from Tribhuvan University, and a bachelor’s degree in english and sociology from Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dharan, Nepal. She is involved in research relating to migration, labour, and gender, among others. Bhimkala has extensive field experience and has previously worked as field researcher for the Centre for Economic Development and Administration, Tribhuvan University, and as field surveyor for the Nepal Centre for Contemporary Studies. Her research interests are migration, gender, and development issues.
