KATHMANDU, May 1: Daily wage workers on Saturday continued their daily work despite the prohibitory orders placed in Kathmandu starting Thursday.

The ongoing restriction is taking a severe toll on the daily bread earners as most construction activities are halted. The ongoing development projects are allowed even during this period. However, it is difficult for them to reach their duty sites owing to the suspension of public transportation.
