Binod Dulal completed a Master’s degree in sociology from the Central Department of Sociology at Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal, and specialised in gender and development studies. He also completed his Bachelor’s degree in sociology from TU. Binod currently works for CESLAM on various projects, including ‘A study on violence against returned women migrant workers and their families in Rupandehi and Dhading’, SSB/VSO. Prior to this, he worked in data entry, data management for CREHPA in Lalitpur, as a data quality controller for village profiles of the Sanischare and Urlabari VDCs, and as a cluster coordinator and district coordinator for Herd International, Kathmandu.
His most recent publication is ‘The Socio economic status of ageing people in Nuwakot’ (2017), and his primary research interests include gender and development, research methodology and applied methods, and data collection and management.
