Samiksha Neupane holds a Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuvan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Development studies from Kathmandu University. After completion of her Master’s degree, she has been actively involved in academic research in the areas of violence prevention, gender, migration, and governance. Ms Neupane has more than 5 years of work experience in the field of youth and professional development. Ms Neupane was also a NORHED Scholar who got an opportunity to study at University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, as an exchange student during the course of her master’s course. She was also awarded a research fellowship by The Asia Foundation in 2016 to conduct research on the role of community mediation in strengthening local governance. She represented Nepal in an international training in dialogue and mediation organised by Uppsala University, Sweden, in 2018.
