55 recruitment cos banned to send workers to Qatar

DOHA, The Nepali Embassy in Qatar has banned 55 recruitment agencies from supplying workers to Qatar for charging higher fee than the maximum amount fixed by the government and failing to ensure committed salary and works.
 
“We have barred the agencies from sending migrant workers and have rejected their demand letter,” said embassy’s Labour Attaché Indra Dev Pandey.
 
Meanwhile, the embassy has also written to the Department of Foreign Employment to take action against the agencies. The department, however, has not provided any details on whether it has initiated action against them.
 
“After going through statements of the affected workers along with their contract documents, we have written to the department to take appropriate action against the agencies. But we are yet to hear a word from the department,” Pandey said.
 
The agencies barred from sending the workers are Al Ayuni Overseas Services, Al Vision International, Al Jaffer International, Alpha Roma International Manpower Service, Advance Recruitment Service, Adventure Human Resource, Asia-pacific Recruitment Service, AAFB Overseas, Caravan Employment Service, Citizen Overseas Service, Dreams Unlimited and Company, De Proton Manpower Suppliers, Diyalo Human Resource, Eva Nepali Overseas, Frodos International, Galivant Manpower, Gulf Connection Recruitment Service, Gulf Management Overseas, Imperial Overseas, International Trade Links, International Job Links, International Manpower Recruitment, Job Placement Service, Kids Employment Service,  Kshitiz Employment Service, Lifeline Overseas, Link Star Manpower, MD Overseas, Maithali Manpower, Perfect Connection Employment, Progressive Placement Service, Pumari Overseas, Raj Overseas, Regal Overseas Manpower Agency, Rotary Overseas, Sai Krishna Employment Bureau, Sakisaham Human Resource, Sana International, Recruitment Service, Sarathi Overseas, Siddartha Buddha Overseas, Silver Star Overseas, Saptakoshi Human Resource, Speed Overseas, Sansar International, Siddhartha Gautam Overseas, Soongava Overseas, Thanks International Service, Trikon International, World Webber, Overseas, World Vision International, and Yeti Overseas, among others.
