Nepali migrants stranded in Malaysia for the past month have been rescued. Eighty-nine Nepali migrants had been stranded after their employer ran off with their passports.

At the initiative of Safe Migration Project (SAMI), 30 Nepalis were rescued on Saturday and 55 on Sunday, said Nabindra Rai, programme coordinator of Khotang chapter of SAMI operated by Public Service Society, Nepal. Rai added that four more Nepalis are waiting to be rescued.
