Korean police felicitate Nepali woman

Kumi Municipality Police Office in South Korea have felicitated a Nepali woman migrant worker for her contribution in social security sector.

Sarita Khawas, from Sunsari, received a certificate of honour amid a function organised at Kumi University. She also received the recognition of the guardianship of the students at the university.
Khawas has been working under the South Korean Employment Permit System since 2008.

Khawas is currently working at Han Sung Thread Company. The company had recommended her to the university two years ago. Khawas will be promoted to the category of skilled worker if she completes the Korean language test as determined by the government.
