Two foreigners arrested while conducting orientation promising employment in Poland

The Department of Foreign Employment on Saturday arrested two foreign nationals while they were conducting an orientation programme on employment in Poland without prior approval from the department.

According to Dharma Lamsal, an investigation officer at the department, the duo was arrested from Hotel Marriott in Kathmandu for an investigation.

The foreigners are said to be associated with the Dubai-based North American Visa Service Centre.

They were scheduled to conduct orientation programmes for Poland aspirants throughout the day and already held a session for manpower companies and two sessions for workers before being arrested, Lamsal said.

The department has issued a letter to Krishna Dhakal, the owner of Eagle Manpower Consultancy, asking him to appear in the department on Sunday, suspecting that he helped the foreigners.
