Bhim Kala Limbu holds a Master’s degree in anthropology from Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal, and a Bachelor’s degree in English and sociology from Mahindra Multiple Campus, Dharan, Nepal. She currently works for CESLAM and is involved in all aspects of research, and is engaged in numerous projects, including ‘Impact study of mechanization in the Eastern Tarai Region of Nepal’, ‘Use of remittance in rural enterprises’, and ‘South Asia work in freedom transnational evaluation’ among many others.
Bhim Kala has extensive field experience and previoulsy worked as a field researcher for the Centre for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA) and TU, and as a field surveyor for the Nepal Centre for Contemporary Studies (NCCS). Her main research interests are migration, gender issues, and working with non-profit/bi-lateral/multi-lateral organisations on social and development issues.
