  • Labour Market Trends Study in Nepal

    The objective of the study was to analyse current trends and patterns of migration and provide an assessment of the roles and activities of government and private organisations in relation to the existing policies and systems directed at information, preparation, and recruitment of labour migrants.   • Parsa Migration-Related Survey  

    Conducted in collaboration with the University of Oxford, this survey was undertaken in an effort to shed light on the nuances in the facts and figures on migration from the Tarai region, which national surveys (NLSS, NLFS, census) have not been able to do satisfactorily. A population census of three VDCs in Parsa district was undertaken focusing particularly on acquiring information pertaining to migration.

  • Migration Analysis in Nepal

    The objective of the study was to identify potential areas of migration in Nepal with linkages to GIZ’s bilateral programmes in Nepal, Inclusive Development of the Economy (INCLUDE) and Trade Promotion Program (TPP), assess risks and opportunities for both programmes to tap into a select number of districts in western Nepal.
