On the occasion of International Women’s Day (8 March), CLASS Nepal and UNI/NLC Women’s Committee jointly organised IWD celebration programme with various activities.

The year's theme was CONNECTING GIRLS, INSPIRING FUTURES which means if every International Women’s Day event held in 2012 includes girls in some way, then thousands of minds will be inspired globally.

Chief Guest: Sheikh Chandtara  Kumari, Chairperson of National Women’s Commission

There were about 70 women representatives from various service sectors.
