Type: Interaction Programme
Summary
The Interaction Programme began with a presentation by Dr. Radha Adhikari.
The neo-political economic climate that facilitates this rise in education was the context for the presentation of case studies of nurses; how they are educated, their subsequent migration processes, and their experiences of living and working in the UK.
The presentation was followed by an interaction with stakeholders from the Government, Nursing Council, Nursing Association, Trade Unions, Educational Institutions, CTEVT and International Organizations.
Dr. Radha Adhikari is a nurse with extensive work experience in Nepal and UK. She holds a PhD from the School of Health in Social Science, University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science in Health Promotion from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
