Following the local administration’s warning of stringent action, three Kamlaris (indentured girl child labourers) have been freed in the district. According to the Freed Kamlari Development Forum, Indra Chaudhary of Bardiya, Ramila Chaudhary of Kachanapur in Banke and a girl of Dang were freed from Nepalgunj. Dil Kumari Chaudhary, the district chairperson of the forum, said there are still 73 Kamlaris in Banke district. (PR)
